![]() Spock pretended to go along with her in order to steal the cloaking device from her ship, and he is successful. She offers Spock an opportunity to command a ship of his own if he agrees to lead some Romulans on board the Enterprise and bring it to Romulus. Because the current line according to them has everyone, QT included, being a gross hypocrite.Beverly Joanne Linville (Janu– June 20, 2021) was an American actress. I'm more interested in the discussion of where the line is drawn. The general sentiment & lack of nuance I've seen from statements made by female streamers, the replies, & the following LSF circlejerk however, drives me crazy. I'm not going to pretend as if her tweet is a heinous act. Do you really think she asked them for permission?Įdit 3: I think it's important to say, the point of this post is not to mindlessly shit on qt. It seems less likely that she got express permission for the tweet and more like she thought it would be a funny tweet. Her tweet was 2.5 hours after the event had ended. At 33 mins into her most recent vod she goes over pokimane's tweet & more and agrees with them.Įven then, even if she didn't agree with poki, the utter similarity of wikifeet and deepfakes is enough to warrant a discussion.Įdit 2: I've read a lot of sentiment that this was probably consensual. I just want to start a discussion about where we draw the line on non-consensual sexualization.Įdit: for those trying to say "but qt didn't agree with them!" Yes she did. I'm not trying to say this tweet is morally wrong within my opinion. I am not saying this is nearly as bad as deepfakes, I'm simply pointing out hypocrisy, considering there is a high similarity between wikifeet and deepfake porn. IIRC I saw a tweet where she states she purposefully does her best to never show her feet as well. A quick search of her name in the site has 500 results, many being creepy screenshots from mid stream. In Poki's tweet with 350k likes, she said non-consensual sexualization is wrong, period (And many other streamers statements echo this sentiment). Her tweet also brought more attention to the website, which has been a main issue in the atrioc situation. I'm not trying to say this is the end of the world, but this website is literally non-consensual sexualization of streamers and celebs in form of pics and screengrabs for people with foot fetishes to jerk off to. And I, along with everyone else here am aware her tweet is a joke (shocker). DISCLAIMER: I have seen many people take this as an attempt to discredit qt, and say she has no right to be angry about the deepfake situation. ![]()
